Caravan and Motorhome Club CL Site Adult Only
Barleywood CL is a members only 5 CL site situated 8 miles from the beautiful North Norfolk Coast close to Burnham Market and Fakenham. Open all year round the site itself is set over 1 acre of well-maintained grass with all clippings removed and very free draining. Pitches are well spaced out with access to 16amp electric hook ups, picnic tables and plentiful taps. An information room provides plenty of information on local attractions and eateries. Fridges and freezers stocking the basics are provided for your own use. There is also a washing machine and tumble drier, kettle, toaster, microwave and TV. We have a litter point and are keen on recycling. There are chickens on site and we sell fresh eggs. An abundance of wildlife visits the site including barn owls, red kite, woodpeckers, goldfinches, buzzards and fallow deer. This site is adults only and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
The site is an excellent base for walking or cycling the 43 miles of coastline. There is a place for fishing in the village and grass tennis courts, The Ostrich Inn in the village has undergone a complete make over and serves amazing food and Pizzas at lunch time walk able from the site down a quiet lane, there is a driving range and crazy golf nearby. The local bus will stop outside if you flag it down. Some facilities and attractions are available in nearby Fakenham including shopping, gas, cinema, bowling and a selection of take aways. Close by are Sandringham, Blickling, Holkham Hall, Pensthorpe and some wonderful seafood restaurants.
New for Sept 2019 our brand new centrally heated toilet and shower block, with comfort height toilets, sensor lights, illuminated mirrors and Mira showers all heated by its own oil fired boiler ensuring continuous piping hot water, see pictures in the gallery.

Prices for 2023 are £18.00 per night, we have added meters to the pitches, the pitch fee includes £3 of electricity additional units charged at current rate, additional adults are charged at £3 per night, showers are charged at 20p per minute and washing machine/ tumble drier £2 per load. Payment can be made by cheque cash or bank transfer. Bookings being taken up to 2026.
